Winners of our Street Art Competition in 2009, Claroscuro, are a body of two artists from backgrounds in the fine arts and graffiti world who come together on special projects to push the boundaries in their two art spaces. After a fiercly fought online competition facilitated through our Blog Claroscuro were chosen from a group of 50 top street artists.
While the Wharf rested, Claroscuro were let loose on Wahaca’s restaurant and worked three nights solidly to graffiti the restaurant in their vibrant & electric fashion. Claroscuro used a combination of contemporary imagery, Mexican iconography & typical street art style in their graphics and have left us with something exceptional.
